They gained how much pregnancy weight?
Celebrity baby bump watch is in full swing this Mother’s Day, as the world waits for the birth of the Royal Baby in July. Duchess Kate (check out her bump) isn’t the only closely watched figure these days – Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson and Jenna Dewan-Tatum are all expecting this summer as well.
The duchess is staying mum on most details, including how much weight she has gained so far. Other celebrity moms? Not so much. Click through to Bing to discover who has come clean about their baby weight, and find how much they really gained.

The pop singer was so comfortable with her pregnancy curves that she posed nearly nude for the cover of Marie Claire (see the photo | which celeb did this first?). Since giving birth to son Max (see photos) in 2008, Aguilera has consistently been a tabloid target for her fluctuating figure, which she has flaunted in revealing outfits (see them) as a judge on “The Voice.”
The supermodel became a lightning rod for controversy during her first pregnancy for making inflammatory remarks about pregnancy weight, breastfeeding and giving birth. "I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week,” she told Vogue in 2010. “I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals.” Bundchen also famously described giving birth in her bathtub as painless and bragged that she was up making pancakes for her family the next day.
The pop diva used her gig as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman to shed her pregnancy pounds after giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe (see pics) in April 2011 (see her Twitpic of her painted pregnancy belly). Carey has been candid with fans about her difficult pregnancy, which she says caused water retention and swelling in her entire body instead of just typical swollen feet.
Giada de Laurentiis
The Food Network chef discovered yoga while pregnant after her obstetrician warned her to slow down on her intense gym workouts. To help lose the baby weight after giving birth to daughter Jade Marie (see photos) in 2008, de Laurentiis (see photos) continued to practice yoga and adhered to a strict diet of no sugar or cheese for six months. The working mom credits yoga for keeping her energized and focused with her busy schedule.
The “Great Gatsby” actress (her funnyman hubby?) and mother of two told Fitness magazine she gained almost the same amount of weight with both pregnancies: “I had severe morning sickness both times, so I mostly ate supersize bowls of white pasta with loads of butter and cheese because that was the only thing that took away the nausea.” After giving birth to daughter Olive (see photos) in 2007, Fisher worked with a personal trainer three times a week to get in shape before filming “Confessions of a Shopaholic” (watch clips) three months later.
The best-selling author and talk show host (her age?) was criticized for flaunting her post-baby body on the cover of Us Weekly just three weeks after giving birth to daughter Bryn (see photos) in 2010. Frankel, who posed in a red swimsuit for the magazine (see pics), stayed active during her pregnancy by walking 45 minutes a day and doing yoga. And after quickly losing the baby weight, we’re guessing she toasted herself with a Skinnygirl margarita (get the recipe).
The outspoken actress and co-host of “The View” (watch clips) defended Jessica Simpson’s much-talked-about weight gain during her first pregnancy in 2012, sharing that she had also gained a lot of weight while pregnant with her only daughter (who is she?) in 1973.
The actress blames her unhealthy diet of fried and battered foods for her substantial weight gain during her first pregnancy in 2003. She called the daunting process of losing the baby weight an “emotional roller coaster” that required three months of daily three-hour cardio sessions. For her second pregnancy in 2011, Hudson stuck to healthier foods and, at six months, had gained only 11 pounds (see her with her sons).
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel (was she fired?) was back to bikini modeling three months after giving birth to son Flynn (see pics) in early 2011 (who's her sexy actor hubby?). And no surprise: Kerr runs a blog devoted to organic eating and healthy living, where she has shared her beauty and nutrition secrets ― including her love for this natural substance, which she sprinkles on salads or in her green tea every day.
