
Robert Danoff, D.O., M.S., is a family physician and program director of The Family Practice Residency, as well as the combined Family Practice/Emergency Medicine Residency programs at Frankford Hospitals, Jefferson Health System, Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Rob graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his postgraduate medical training at Frankford Hospital. He also has an M.S. degree from Syracuse University and an M.S. degree from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His graduate school training focused on environmental health.
Dr. Rob believes in a preventive approach to medicine and encourages his patients to "take charge and be the CEO of their personal health plan." He also has a focus on integrative medicine, which combines traditional Western medicine with proven complementary medical practices.
Dr. Rob is the medical correspondent for CN8, The Comcast Network; a regular contributor to Discovery Health Online; and and a contributing writer to the New York Times Special Features. He also writes a weekly medical column for The Bucks County Courier Times, in Bucks County Pa. Dr. Rob serves on the Board of his local YMCA, as well as the honorary board of Gilda's Club, Delaware Valley, Pennsylvania.
