Downward-facing dog

Start on all fours with your hands under your shoulders, palms pressing evenly into the floor. Tuck your toes under and lift your knees off the floor as you straighten your legs, as shown. Hold for three to five breaths.

Forearm plank

Start on all fours, then lower onto your forearms and slowly step your feet out behind you, as shown, and tuck your tailbone slightly. (If this is too difficult, drop to your knees.) Pull your abs in tight, and hold for three to five breaths.

Legs up on the wall

Get yourself into this position with a folded blanket under your butt and lower back, as shown. Hang out here for up to 10 minutes, or whatever you have time for. Then breathe a happy sigh of relief!
